Robert Garrepy Obituary

Robert A. "Bob" Garrepy 85, of Tucson, AZ passed Monday, April 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Shirley A. Garrepy and by two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his children, Sherri Jablonski and Donna Van Nostrand; his grandchildren, Dawn, Lisa, Wayne, Rachel and his great-granddaughters, Maeli and Seliana. Robert was born in Worchester, MA. on November 24, 1928 and made his home in Tucson since 1968. He was an employee of United Fire Equipment for 35 years before retiring at age 81. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea from 1954-1956. He was a fan of all things country and western and a game of cards with anyone willing to lose. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as a good road trip right up until his passing. Following a private burial, a remembrance will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Tucson Botanical Gardens, Porter Hall, 2150 N. Alvernon Way. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Fox Theatre, www.foxtucsontheatre.org. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
