Dear Chester,
I know you're gone now, but you'll ne'er be gone from my heart. Sometimes I dream of you all those years ago. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. When I pass, I hope to see you up in heaven and talk to you once more the way I never thought I would be able to again.

This came across my desk on the anniversary. This man made a difference in my life. I'd shake in my boots when he'd come around that was part of his charm. He helped my father too giving him work during the summer.

It is difficult to believe that it has already been a year since we lost you. The last time that we were together was at Dennis Ryan's home when you were replacing the roof on Dennis and Martha's home. Now Dennis is gone and hopefully you two are together and looking down on us and smiling. My hope is that all the pain is gone from both of your bodies and you both are resting in peace. Many including my self mis you so very much. Gary Elliott

It's still hard for me to grasp the concept that you are not coming back and that I won't see you again till it's my time. I want to tell you I'm sorry that we lost touch On and off. We always just assume there will be a next time.
we really never know what tomorrow brings. Unfortunately there wasn't a next time but no matter what I will hold on to the good times.I loved the fact that even if you and I didn't talk for a couple months, we somehow met up we would talk forever and it was like there was never that lapse in time. I will always miss your laugh smile and our conversations.
When I heard about your passing I had a knot in my stomach for about a week I was in complete and total shock, to be honest a part of me is still in shock.
Why did you take such an amazing person ? It's crazy old memories replay in my head stuff I haven't thought about in years. I tend to wonder is it you putting the memories in my head ?I laugh cry and remember the good times we had a lot.
I am grateful for all the time I have spent with you and I want you to know that you have a spot in my heart forever. You will always be remembered.
I want to thank you for always being here for me for being a true friend and loving with all of your heart. I wish you knew what a positive impact you were to everybody around you. You are truly loved and missed. Please watch over me and keep me safe. I love you Chester

Chester was my friend for over 40 year's. He saved my bacon more than once. But more than that he taught me to be a better person by always standing your ground when you knew you were right.
At the celebration of his life the most often description of Chet was that he was man of integrity. I will miss him till the day I pass.

My sympathies to Chet's family. It's hard to believe that this bulldog of a man is gone. He always faced adversity head on, and never backed down from anything. He was a fatherfigure, a brother, a mentor and teacher, the one who a person could always go to for help, in nany situation. You might have to listen to some hard facts, and a possible butt chewing, but in the end he would provide whatever you required. I owe my success as a businessman, to his teaching, and a helping hand whenever I called on him. He helped build my house without my asking, workers showed, and materials were produced, by Chet Antonick. I don't know if drywall is a product used in the hereafter, but if it is, Chet just took over, and it mis running his way. God Bless you my friend.

My sympathies to Chet's family. He was like a father, brother mentor, teacher, guidance and marriage counselor, career advisor, amongst all the other descriptions that one man can earn.I gained a wealth of business knowledge in the twenty years I worked for him, that certainly helped me to be successful in my own business. Chet never turned me down when I asked for any kind of help from him, and I will never forget his kindness and generosity over the years. Hearing of his passing almost seems surreal, as Chet was the kind of man a person thinks will never die, because of his will to go forward no matter how many obstructions were thrown his way. And so I guess with that in mind he Never will die, because he has left so many memories with so many people. Thanks Chester Antonick for your friendship. Eric Martin

Chet was always like family. He helped our family out in troubled times and we never forgot that. Our Dad always thought of Chet as his little brother. Hope they are together now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rest In Peace my friend. From the first time that I met you with a firm shake from you, I knew that you were a special person. Your quiet voice and smile that lit the room was an indication that I was in the presence of a special person. As the years went on I learned from others what you did for so many others, from starting their own company's or to saving their companies. The depth of your compassion was beyond comparison.
And then "Little Chester" came along and I experienced what the word "love" means. The twinkle in your eyes and your loving, but firm. "Chester get over here" at our little restaurant in Rio Rico, and Cester turned and looked at you with his hands on his hips in defiance, and you cocked your head with your "Chet" look Chester came running back to you and exclaimed "daddy I love you" and you replied in your oh so quiet voice " I love you too son." A memory I will take to my final resting place. And there are so many more that you touched in, similar ways in "The Santa Cruz River Valley. "
I have heard that the last period of time in your life here was not kind to you. I feel that you are at rest in a better place with no more suffering and that is was you have earned. Dear Chet we will see each other again and rejoice.
Your friend, Gary Elliott
