By coincidence, this morning I happened to find myself thinking of David and Marian, and then found this announcement on my computer! David brought so much joy to Villa Hermosa in the time he and Marian lived here as he conducted the small but eager choir and made the coral music that came forth really terrific! He and Marian presented a couple of musical programs here on various holidays that we really enjoyed! So much joy in the world thanks to David, to both of them!

Although we only knew David a few years before his passing, we were so impressed with his wit and humor and willingness to get involved and contribute to our retirment community. He directed the choir and brought out such wonderful sound! He will be missed.

Amazingly Doc was my mom's choral director at Franklin College and then mine in high school in Penn Yan. He will be missed by many!

As a student of both Doc and Marion, I remember them both fondly and often.
A willing listener and patient counsellor, he guided my life in many ways, teaching me the frailty of human nature and the power of faith.
Deepest respect and condolence to the family.

I was one of many who was fortunate enough to have been a student of both Doctor Kellermeyer and his wife Marian. I remember them both fondly and often. "Doc" was more than just my teacher, he was a patient and understanding friend and mentor who helped to guide me in the right direction and helped me to understand the frail nature of humanity and the power of faith.
My deepest respect and condolence to Marion, Steven and Becky.

My dad Walter "Gene" Guild was a very good friend and co-worker at Penn Yan Academy. I remember him as always warm, compassionate, always bringing out the talents in each one of us. My sister loved signing with the Varitones in the early 70's. Imagine the number of people he touched in each community he lived and worked - thousands I'm sure were made a difference in their lives.

We enjoyed David'd tenure at Immanuel PC, not only as music director, but as a gracious and charming friend. We are saddened by his passing.

I have many fond memories of working with David in Penn Yan, NY and am grateful for his support and encouragement of my teaching and conducting. The Penn Yan Community Chorus, which he began in 1975 is still going strong. Wishing all your family comfort and peace.
