Deb and I were best friends in grade school though we drifted apart in our high school years I always considered her a good friend. I just read of her passing today. I am sorry I missed her when she was back in Iowa. I will always remember the time we spent together in our youth. Rest in peace old friend.

Hi Deb,
Deb & I meet at 'Old Adobe Realty' where she also was a realtor. We had many chats and she was always a pleasant young lady. Her realtor pal, Anne Marie, Deb, and I used to get together quite often until she fell ill. She will always be missed. Enjoy where you are Deb...until we meet again.

This woman was a true angel. I know she helped save the life of the child I adopted who became my son. She was courageous and righteous and a deeply good person. It's been 26 years since the adoption but I will never forget her. She made a real difference and I am so deeply saddened to hear of her passing.

I met Deb because of her sweet dog, Rosie, whom I took care of when Deb was out of town. A wonderful , brave woman whom I will miss a great deal. I hope her little Rosie is now in good hands.

I met Deb in the fall of 2009 after we moved to Tucson. She was an active member of the local ANA (Acoustic Neuroma Association) chapter meetings. Deb's warmth, compassion and resilience was amazing. Despite numerous (health) challenges, she listened well and contributed positively to the group. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I am absolutely heart broken. This is the sister I never had. We met in 7th grade Wilson Junior High and went off to college together at the Univ. of Iowa with our color coordinated bedspreads, sheets, and towels. As lives change through time we lost touch. But this doesn't indicate that I ever forgot her or her influence on my life. She lives in my heart forever and ever. I think of you everyday Deb.

I worked with Deb for years at Child Protective Services. She was another fellow warrior and survivor. She always worked hard and held high standards/priority of making the system protect the children. But she always had time to say hi and talk.

I went to Middle and High School with Deb.
We ran in the same circle of friends...I was glad to see her 2 years ago when she was back and catch up. You could tell how passionate she was about her job and knew she was in her perfect line of work...such a good gal.
My sincere sympathy and prayers are with Deb's Family.

I went to school with Deb in Cedar Rapids. I lost touch with her until the last year when we communicated a bit on facebook. I'm so sorry I missed all those years connecting with her. We both shared a love for animals. She will obviously be missed by many.
