Joe Don TERRILL

TERRILL, Joe Don 89 years old, passed away in Tucson, AZ on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with his wife, Colleen Terrill and her daughter, Rita by his side. Joe is survived by his wife, Colleen Terrill; ex-wife, Teresa Terrill; sister, Jayell LeMaster; sons, Joe and Phillip; daughter, Cynthia Travis and seven grandchildren, Sean, Keith, Cameron, Austin, Morgan, Payton and Elliott. Joe Don was born in Bisbee, Arizona to Fredina and Joe Ray. Joe joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served as a boat mechanic. He went on to study Mining at the University of Arizona and spent his career as a Mining Engineer, working mostly in Mexico. He was an accomplished pilot and a phenomenal dance partner, but was happiest on the golf course. In addition, there wasn't anything Joe couldn't fix or build from scraps - a real life MacGyver. Most of all Joe was an expert prankster with a very tender heart. We wish him God Speed in meeting his mother, father, brother, Brad and sister, Josie in heaven. In support of Joe's long and happy involvement with the Elk's Lodge, a Celebration of Life will be held on Joe's 90th birthday, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
