John Warren AUCOTT

AUCOTT, John Warren a devoted husband, adoring father, and loyal friend to many, passed away on June 6, 2017 in Long Beach, California surrounded by family. He was 91. Born and raised in Pasadena, California, John served in the Navy during World War II, married his wife Louise Haggard Aucott in 1949, and graduated from UCLA in 1950. He worked for Texaco his entire career. He and Louise had two children, Susan and John, and ultimately six grandchildren whose education they put above all else. Louise passed away in 1995, but the family has since been blessed with two great-granddaughters. Later in life, John met Gerd Bonner in Oro Valley and spent seven wonderful years with her before her passing in 2004. In addition to his children, their spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, John is survived by his brother, Nathaniel of Tucson, AZ, and his sister-in-law, Carole of Reston, VA. A Memorial Celebration is planned for Labor Day Weekend at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Tucson, where John was an active and faithful member for more than 27 years.
