Marie France GAYLORD

1942 - 2016

GAYLORD, Marie France, nee Luneau Marie France was born in Chateauroux, France on July 27, 1942. She went home toward the light on November 5, 2016. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 44 years, Kenneth D. Gaylord; her cherished sons, Tony A. Hoyle of San Francisco, CA; Marc S. Hoyle of Boulder, CO; and Eric C. Gaylord of Dublin, Ireland; her son-in-law, Chris "Max" Altier; and her nephews, Paul Jr., Paul III, and Thomas Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francois and Lucienne Luneau; her sisters, Gilbert Luneau and Jeannette Jackson, and her brother-in-law, Paul A. Jackson. Her heart remained divided throughout her life between her gentle and sweet native France and her love of the American West where she loved to travel in the great open spaces, read books and watch western movies. She was a loyal friend, a good listener, and she would always help you with a problem. Her ashes will rest in the family tomb in Luant, France. In lieu of flowers she suggested donations be made to Doctors Without Borders. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
