Sharon Foster Obituary

Sharon Foster is at rest after passing away on April 5, 2011 at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband, Rich Foster; son, Cary and daughter-in-law, Michelle; grandchildren, Avery and Landon and her brother, Jack Palmer. She was born in Ontario, Canada, went to high school in San Bernardino and then began a 25 year career with the phone company which included jobs in Seattle, Portland, and ultimately Tucson. After retiring from the phone company, she worked in the legal field and at various call centers. Sharon fought her three-year battle with cancer with the help of the wonderful staff at Arizona Oncology and her husband, Rich. A Memorial Service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at the DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME, 3081 W. Orange Grove Rd., at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2011.

Sharon is not gone as long as I can hear that laugh of hers echoing in my heart. What a loving and fun-loving couple! I am grateful that our lives touched, and I am sending white light and healing prayers to Rich and Cary. -- Diane Loving

Dear Rich,
I was saddend to hear of the loss of Sharon. We worked together for several years in developing the Tucson American Marketing Association Chapter. She was a lovely, hard working and dedicated person. Elaine Leusch
