Mr. Joe was a wonderful principal he hired me when he was principal at Lynn Elementary School. He was so patient and understanding and he was truly an advocate for children. May he rest in peace. You were so lucky to have him as a father and grandfather.

Mr Joe was one of the best principals I ever worked under at Lowell H. Smith Elementary. He was patient, understanding and very insightful in a quiet mild manner. He will greatly be missed.

Mr. Joe was my very first principal. He was kind and patient with me as a new teacher. I could see how much he loved what he did and was truly an advocate for the children. He was always fair and with his quiet ways provided me with great insights that I still use today. He retired that year and I only worked with him for a short time. I will never forget his kindness, patience and strong leadership. I am sorry for your loss and extend my condolances to his family and friends.
