Socorro "Bey" SANCHEZ

SANCHEZ, Socorro "Bey" Passed away peacefully on November 21, 2016 in Tucson, AZ. Socorro was born on June 3, 1918 in Sonora, Mexico. She was the daughter of Jose and Ma Jesus Nunez. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Otto Sanchez; two grandsons, Sergio and Jorge Flores; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Julianna Flores and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved children, Beni Osuna and Martha Flores; sisters, Alice Garcia and Stella Garcia and many other family members. Socorro was a beautiful, generous woman. She loved God, her family, music, gardening, fashion and traveling. Bey had a wonderful personality and a natural talent for excelling in fashion sales at Switzers & Lily Rubins for many years. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and bringing joy and words of positive wisdom to all who knew her. Her love was unconditional and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL, 7 E. University Blvd. from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Ambrose Church, 301 S. Tucson Blvd. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
