Howard Smith Obituary

Howard David Smith 1/22/1917 - 4/19/2011 During a peacefully nap, Howard left this world for his next walk, he joins his wife, Geneva in heaven with our Lord. He is survived by one sister, Sarah Gay of Indiana as well as one son, Gary Smith; six daughters, Jana Pollock, Sue Harris, Terry Trent, Joan Stedman, Mavis Smathers and Vicki Liles, also by 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Howard was born in Kennard, Indiana and attended school in Indiana, moving to Arizona in 1956. He worked at Hughes Aircraft and then owned Arizona Mobile Home Movers for many years. Services will be held at the Tucson Church of Brethren, where Howard has been a member since 1956, 2200 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson, on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tucson Church of the Brethren or the charity of your choice. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
