Jesusita F. CORDOVA

CORDOVA, Jesusita F. Was born April 30, 1937 to Gabriel Flores and Estabana Matus Flores in Tucson, AZ. On Friday, December 2, 2016 our beloved mother peacefully entered through the gates of Heaven at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Jesusita was a loving homemaker, raising nine children; though her commitment to service didn't end with her family of 35 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. From the 1980's until as recently as September of 2016, Jesusita diligently worked as Family Mediator/Counselor/Admin. Assistant for Family Crisis Center, Our Town Family Services, Tucson Indian Center, Equal Housing Program and the Pascua Tribe-YoemeKari-Sewa Uusim. An all night vigil will take place in her community of the Pascua Yaqui Reservation at her home, 7405 S. Camino Potam on Sunday, December 11, 2016 starting at 4:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rey Church on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Monte Calvario Cemetery.
