Karlyn Krudde ROKEY

ROKEY, Karlyn Krudde 67, of Tucson, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 28, 2016. She was born December 26, 1948, in Bozeman, Montana, to Peter John and H. Charlotte "Chuckie" Krudde. She married J. Ray Rokey on April 11, 1981. She is survived by her beloved husband, J. Ray and their daughter, Kelsy J. Rokey as well her mother, Chuckie; sister, Cindy Doering and brother, Bill Krudde; multiple cousins, five nieces and two nephews. Karlyn's father preceded her in death. She was a long time resident of Tucson where she lived since leaving Montana. She graduated from Carroll College in 1971 with a degree in elementary education. She taught for over 30 years in Tucson public and private schools. She loved being outdoors and spending time with family. She had an immense love for animals, starting with horses as a young barrel-riding champion and later could be seen in her love and care for her dogs. She spent many years volunteering at the Newman Center at the University of Arizona. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Ironwood Ballroom & Terrace at the Omni Tucson National Resort at 2727 W. Club Drive.
