Michael GIBSON

GIBSON, Michael On November 4, 2017 the lights in the world dimmed as Michael, 52, died after a short illness. Michael was born and spent the first half of his life in New York, but adopted Tucson as his home over 20 years ago.  Michael attended New York Military Academy and ASU, and served in the US Army.  He worked at El Rio Health for many years.  Early on, Michael was an avid tennis player.  He loved to eat, cook, bike and just have a good time. Michael's bright smile and fun-loving spirit will be missed by many including his siblings, David (Abby) and Jill (Terrence); uncle, Jon (Elvia); niece and nephews, Zoe, Zarek and Nico and girlfriend, Elizabeth. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Gene C. Reid - Rose Garden, 22nd and Country Club. His friends from his beloved Hash/Bash community are also planning a memorial. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
