Six years now. It's been a hard year losing my mom and Dave, but now I feel added angels when our little grandson, Raymond Lee, and great grandson, Aidan Jace, come to visit. They see you so clearly that I can hear you singing jump, jump, jump. Please hug the newcomers for me and know that you are forever loved and missed. XXOO

Dad,
Thank you for teaching me how to be tough and to stand up for myself. It hasn't made my life any easier, but it has definitely made it one I can call my own. I'm proud of that. I wish you could see what wonderful young adults your grandkids have grown up to be. I'm sure you know Sadie well. No way did she learn how to make up stories like that on her own. I hope one day to meet your spirit again. I love you and miss you. Till next time...

You went to our maker without any shame. I hope that I get to die clean and in a sober mind without having caused anymore pain. I wasn't there those last days and I don't know if you went in fear but what I know is you're in a good place. Because God allowed you to visit us and be an angel over us. So I hope you felt peace and will always be sorry I wasn't there for you. I know you still provide guidance and show me direction through my dreams and the positive imprint you left on me and your grandsonnies. Lately I have been learning a lot. I'm grateful to be done with school finally at least for now. What I am learning impacts by ability to have trust in myself and others and heal. Helping someone even if it's just me being helped. The other day I was talking to Raymond and I almost said I'll have to ask my dad. It's easy to forget you're gone. But I still and always will talk about you with a lot of love and respect in my heart. Thank you for always making me feel welcome at your home. You would make me coffee and offer to make me breakfast like pancakes. You would say I made good coffee and always complimented me every time you would see me telling me I'm beautiful. You taught me how to take care of myself and how to cook and clean. My family will always be incomplete until I see you again dad. We love you. And finally I'll always recognize your final act of bravery and selflessness by hanging in there one more day. You're a hero and a warrior and that's how you will be remembered forever. Your spirit lives.

Dad, I loved you more than you'll ever know. I'm so happy we got to spend time together. You taught me how to fish and camping. You taught me how to work on cars. I miss you so much and can't wait til we meet again.

Five years ago now. Can't be.Your presence is still so strong. Maybe it's because of the walls and shelves full of pictures and memorabilia. Somehow, I think it's more the home full of love and laughter from your children, grand children and great granddaughter. Thank you for making them all possible. Love you with all my heart.

Another year has passed, much too quickly. I feel you around me every day, whether I'm alone or enjoying the love and laughter of our beautiful family. I know you were there to celebrate the birth of our first great granddaughter, Sadie Skye. I'm also sure you were there to greet Mario with open arms when we lost him last year. I miss you each day and hug our kids tighter and longer on your behalf. Thank you for watching over us and giving us so many wonderful memories. Yours 4FR

No, we will never forget you. The way you would grin and laugh when you pulled a good prank. Or would make us believe a most unbelievable story and then say "I'm just kidding, I like to start rumors" and laugh. You were so kind to each person you met and strolled the newest grandchild through the neighborhood to introduce him to all the neighbors. You weren't shy and stood for what you believed in and always spoke your mind. Your eyes always twinkled around the love of your life and you were best friends. Each of your children respected and admired you no matter what. Yes, you created a legacy that will live on. Don't worry sweet brother, we will not forget you. You are in our hearts and I can't wait until we meet again. You fought a good fight and now you must rest. No more pain. Love you very much, Sister SueAnn
