William Lorne "Bill" SOWLER

SOWLER, William "Bill" Lorne born January 16, 1931, passed away surrounded by family July 9, 2017 from complications of emergency surgery. Born in Wisconsin, he lived in Tucson for the past 57 years. He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Buckelew and husband, Nick; sister, Claudia Hallman and husband, Ken; stepdaughter, Janis Mourreale and husband, Tom; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In good spirits and joking until the end. He loved his family, bass fishing, boxing and Arizona sports. Bill was a lifetime member of Ironworkers Union, Local 75, and never missed the retired Ironworkers monthly breakfast. The family will attend the September Ironworkers breakfast and honor Bill by buying breakfast for all his buddies. The family will spread his ashes at one of his favorite fishing holes at a later date. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
