Leon, Louise, Benny, Rocky, Karrla and the rest of the family, know that I am with you in spirit, and pray that we will find comfort in knowing Essie is resting peacefully with the Lord. I remember our last telephone conversation just a few weeks ago, and it was such a joy to laugh with her, and talk about our plan for me to spend the night for a "Sister's Night" on my next visit to Tucson. We spoke about the love and goodness of God, and how we were thankful to Him that we grew closer these past few years. I wasn't ready to say goodbye and I will miss Essie deeply...

Dearest Nonie, Thank You for your beautiful spirit and gentle soul. You are an inspiration to all of us. You will never be forgotten, your spirit lives in many of us. You are a blessing from God. May you rest in peace and rejoice in heaven. Tiqua you and your family are in my prayers. God Bless.

Essie, I know you are with our Savior and I know you must know how much you will be missed. We did not get to spend enough time with you. Mom, I already miss you so much, but I will see you in Heaven and we can rejoice for an eternity.

Rocky, Tiqua & Karrla I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. It has been many many many years since we last spoke or saw each other. I have very fond memories of her beautiful smile and laughter it's been many years but I still hold her and you very dear in my heart...

Auntie none of this seems real, its like I'm sleep and for some reason I can not wake up...I know your in a better place where you feel no pain and hve no worries but I can't help but to be selfish and want you back here with us bc your so greatly missed<3 I have so many great memories of you from childhood to adulthood<3 You were such a wise women who taught us about God to just about life and those words of wisdom will forever remain our hearts just like you....Mariyah and Micah loved you so much and whenever we passed your house they would always almost get out their seat belts to look at your house and if they didn't see your car they would immediately ask where your car was, and when I would tell them we were going to your house they would always get so excited<3 ....we were so blessed to have you and there will never be another like you Auntie<3 That day that Tiqua and I spent with you was such a great day we watched a show we all enjoyed, talked, played a little bible trivia, and discussed so much and when we left like always we hugged and said I love you....I love you always and forever Auntie and thank you for all the love you gave to me and the babies<3 Love, Zarinah, Mariyah, and Micah<3

To Essie's Family, Please accept my condolences on the passing of someone you loved and cherished. I was fortunate to work with Essie for a few years, what a beautiful, kind and gentle soul, sharing her love and wisdom with us over the years. May she rest in peace, rejoicing in paradise!
