Karen Priester Obituary

Karen Priester born December 4, 1938, in Detroit, Karen joined her first love, Kenneth Hall, and her second husband Verne Priester, in heaven April 11, 2011, after a hard-fought, long battle with illness. She is survived by her significant other, Terry Morgan; children, Kenneth (Cindy) Hall, Keith (Jackie) Hall and Kim (Bobby Joe) Smith; grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, Melanie and Michael and three step-grandchildren, Jackie, Joy and Joseph. She also leaves behind her sister, Nancy (Michael) Wagner and brother, Rich (Ann) Miller, several nieces and nephews and Nikolai, a much-loved great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Alice, and her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Jerry Taylor. Karen will always be remembered for her devotion to those she loved, her generous spirit, her outspokenness, her baking abilities and her unpretentious ways. She will be deeply missed. Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson. Contributions can be made to Peppi's House, 2715 N. Wyatt Drive, Tucson, Arizona. 85712.

Kenny, Keith, and Kim we are so sorry to hear of your mother's death. We have so many wonderful memories of growing up together. She was our oldest daughter's Godmother and we are Kenny's Godparents. We will keep you in our prayers. Mike and Shirley Powers (Macomb, MI)

Kenny, Keith,Kim... Aunt Karen will be truly missed. I loved her dearly. Terry, thank u for taking care of aunt Karen for so many years. She truly loved you. I hope you all know, she is in a much better place, filled with all her loved ones. I love u guys. Take care and God Bless... I love u Aunt Karen.
