Marjory Eggleton Obituary

EGGLETON, Marjory Sherman, of Tucson, AZ passed away March 20, 2011. She was born December 1, 1933 and lived in Lakewood, OH and Hudson, OH before moving to Tucson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eleanor Sherman. Marjory will be remembered as a loving mother, caring wife and gifted writer. Marjory was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Lakewood, Ohio and Denison University, Granville, Ohio where she was very active in various alumni organizations. Marjory had careers in advertising, teaching and a variety of other fields and was a published author. She will be remembered for her love of golf, camping and the great outdoors. Marjory's family would like to thank those who took such magnificent care of her over the past year including Kristina Henry and the wonderful care team at Emeritus at Catalina Foothills in Tucson. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Eric Weber; brothers, Douglas Sherman (Eva), Kenneth Sherman (Caryl) and Lewis Sherman (Elizabeth); sister, Phyllis Thompson. A Memorial Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712 on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her honor to Doctors Without Borders USA, P.O. Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
