Mr. Braden was my all time favorite teacher. He was my 6th grade teacher at Steele Elementary . My two older brothers had him too. I will always remember his incredible smile, his patience and his love for the Beatles. He used to play their songs in class, always with a lesson attached. The three of us will never forget him.
My deepest sympathies to The Braden family. May his memory be a blessing.

Roger was the teacher for all 3 of our children. They all loved him and continue to speak of him today. He left a lasting impression as one of their favorites. His kind heart, wonderful wit, and smile will always be remembered. The Jewells

I met Roger the year of the strike when I was teaching next door to him. He was always full of great teaching stories and TUSD stories. I remember his story about being promised he would become a principal and taken to the school where he would serve. The next morning he got a call and was told he wouldn't be one, with no explanation. Such a shame. He was a good teacher. I had many conversations with him about many things. His wonderful art being displayed at the Credit Union was marvelous to enjoy every time I went there.

Mr. Braden was my 5th grade teacher at Sewell Elementary. He was a wonderful teacher - he introduced us to Mad Libs and the Marine Corps Hymn. I remember enjoying seeing his beautiful paintings on display at the TFCU. Ann Marie Martin Holden

Mr. Braden was my 6th grade teacher. He was amazing! I have very fond memories of that year. Many years later I ran in to him and he had that same wonderful smile and sense of humor. My sincerest condolences to his family.
