I will never forget Birdia, I worked with her at Hancock Fabrics on 12th & Valencia for years. She was always so loving and caring, and always a happy soul. She will be missed so much by her wonderful family and dear friends. May God give all of you comfort during this time and the many memories carry you through!

She was the grandma I never had as a kid. She welcomed me into her family when I married her oldest grand-daughter. I will miss the times when we visited her and enjoyed the wonderful meals she always made for us. We love you, Grandma "Buck", and although our hearts are devastated by your passing, we will see you on the other side of Heaven in what will seem like only the blink of an eye for you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Birdie was always so happy to greet people that came into Valencia Library for their weekly blood pressure check. And always managed to say something nice to everyone as they walked away. Birdie also had patience for the young people who wandered over to her table to ask about the project she was working on, crocheting or tatting. She was very much respected by all.

I am devastated to hear of Birdie's passing. I pray she is where she wishes to be. At present I choose to believe she's the lucky one, while we must stay here and miss her presence.

Birdie raised a terrific family and bestowed on her neighbors the same loving care. Her faithful volunteering at the library strengthened our community. When I was new to the area I was welcomed in love, when I was widowed I was comforted, always lifted in Birdie's prayers. She really knew how to live and we were all blessed to know her.

I am so sorry to hear of Birdie's passing. I was lucky to work at Valencia Library years ago and witness her volunteer work every single week. She provided not only a necessary service, but she did so with caring and heart. She set an amazing example for everyone to follow. I feel very lucky to have known her. Condolences, hugs and prayers to Birdie's family.

My sincerest condolences. I will forever have sweet memories of Birdia. I met her many years ago when I started working at Valencia. She would come in and set up at the little table and wait for her flock to come in for their weekly checkin. She was one of ours, part of our library family. My son still has the teddy bear she made for him when he was born.. He will be 33 this year.
May God keep Birdia close to him and may Gods loving arms comfort her family at this time.

I am so sorry for your great loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death. God understands your loss and is near to all those calling on him in prayer. May you look to God for comfort to endure during this most difficult time. (Psalms 145:18)
