Cecilia C. REDONDO

REDONDO, Cecilia C. 97, of South Tucson AZ passed away peacefully at her home on February 8 2018. Cecilia was born August 6, 1920 in Tucson AZ and raised in Mazatlán Sinaloa Mexico. On December 24, 1943, she married her husband of 73 yrs., Edwardo Redondo. As a full- time homemaker, she spent most of her time raising their four children. Known by everyone as a kind and gentle person, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Cecilia cherished spending time with family and friends and always put the well-being of others ahead of her own. She was also an avid poker enthusiast, loved to travel, and listen to music. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwardo Redondo, her mother Catalina Cortez, siblings, Lucy, Celia and Rafael. She is survived by her children, Pat Gomez (Claude), Eddie Redondo (Maria), Yolanda Federico and Cindy Rivera (Paul). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
