Clemente Trejo CARRILLO

CARRILLO, Clemente Trejo passed away on October 29, 2017 surrounded by his family. Clemente, born on November 21, 1924, was preceded in death by his parents, Petronilo Carrillo and Alberta Trejo, and his sons, Clemente Carrillo Jr., and Anthony Carrillo (Rosie); his siblings, Carmen, Refugio, Mage, Augustina, Leopolo and his granddaughter, Tanya Carrillo. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ofelia Martinez Carrillo; his sister, Rosa Ortega; his children, Paul Carrillo (Laura), Martin Carrillo (Cristina), Eva Carrillo Dong and Carol Lopez (Fernando); his grandchildren, Harry Carrillo, Michelle Carrillo, Brandy Carrillo, Venetta Pry, Paul Carrillo Jr., Michael Carrillo, Steven Carrillo, Robert Carrillo, Daniel Dong, Kathy Dong, Suzanne Mendoza, Tina Dong, Ricky Lopez and numerous great- grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. Clemente served in the Army and Airforce Reserve for many years and retired from Davis Monthan Airforce Base after more than 25 years as an aircraft mechanic. He received numerous awards for his commitment and dedication to the Airforce base and his country. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 68. Clemente loved to travel to Lordsburg and El Paso to visit his family and friends. He loved to dance, tell stories, and took great pride in his beautiful gardens. His laughter, humor, mischief, compassion, and kindness will always be missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN, 5401 S. Park Ave., 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Saturday, November 4, 2017, 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
