Dearest Daisy and Orvie, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle, and all the other titles and roles you held thru out your lives. We're reminded again how short life is, on this day after your first years passing. Tomorrow on Mothers day we will celebrate our mothers still here and remember also in Celebration those who taught us all so much as our fathers as well. Thank you both once again, for giving us such great examples of how to Love one and all alike, each other and our Heavenly Father. We miss you both.

Daisy , Thank You for making this world a better place. You led such an exemplary life . . . if we could all strive for a portion of that. So many unspoken words . . .unrealized circumstances . . . unseized opportunities . . . Thank you Daisy for helping us reevaluate our lives ! ! ! May we continue to carry your torch and be a BLESSING TO ALL. Enjoy your reunions and the rest of your life . . .

We are so sorry to lose our sweet Aunt Daisy! She was so dear to us. We will always remember her sweet ways, and her laughter and kindness. She was our teen Sunday School teacher, and she taught us so much about God's Word. Her and Uncle Orvie made a great team. They are rejoicing in Heaven now. Prayers to Donna and family, David and family, and Brenda and family. We love you all!

"Some of the stars we see in the sky died millions of years ago and yet we still see their light today. So it is with Daisy. Her spirit will shine on in spite of her death. The pain will diminish, but not the light." - Dr. Fred Epstein

Thank You Daisy, for every time you may not have felt like giving of yourself but somehow did anyway. Your love was always evident as was forgiveness, patience, guidance, understanding, acceptance, tolerance, compassion, encouragement, and cooking of course. The home you and Orvie opened to us all w/everything having a place and everything in its place given freely to everyone who was blessed to know you.
We all understood the life you where given was unfair but where so inspired of how you never complained for an instant but instead would ask how we where? We all knew we where in your thoughts and prayers and will strive to be more like you both where to us all.
I had a thought of you entering the gates of your eternal home with your perfect healthy heavenly body where shortly after being embraced warmly by our loving heavenly father and so many loved ones, you then excused yourself and began running and jumping and spinning and praising at the top of your lungs, in a beautiful field of flowers, free at last.
We where so drawn to your loving spirit yet would never wish for you back for even a moment but rather will attempt to carry on what we have learned from you until we meet again w/our work here also done. You told us so clearly that you where working on something here but you had to put that aside because you have a new project, you where very intent to explain what you where shown in the pre dawn of your passing with hand gesturing and repeating this several times to help us understand your work here is finished and you have to move on.
You've shown us how to live.
Your legacy lives on Daisy, well done.

Sweet Daisy has finally met Jesus and back with her sweetheart again but
sad for her family and friends.
She was a great lady.
She helped raise my two children, Felicia and Devin while they were young and I being a single mother had to work for a living. God brought Daisy into our lives and wow! we were blessed. Daisy and Orvie were so good to my kids. I will forever be grateful for both of them.
You are all in my prayers.

Sadness jumped into my heart when I heard this news. My deepest sympathy to you all. When I was small her name always sounded like sunshine to me. I don't know if it was the flower or all the summer time visits. In anycase I hope all the memories you have in your hearts bring you joy and sunshine.
