Time is not ours, so we make the best of what is given. Darrell touched so many lives in the time he was given. He left a footprint on my heart. We worshiped together, We prayed together, and We enjoyed the gift of music together. Darrell what an AWESOME man you were. I was blessed with a miracle of your friendship.

Anna, You and your family are in my prayers. Darrell hung out with both of my brothers in Jr High and High school. He played the drums in bands with them. I remember him very well and his big smile and laugh.

My most heart felt condolences. Darrell was one who I considered a friend. One with whom I had occassionally sparred with years ago. He was fast as a cat and hit like his hands were sledge hammers, an excellent instructor and human being. Sometimes God calls his angels before we that are left behind are ready.

Annie and Ryan. I am still shocked and very sad that Darrell has left us but know that Ella and his dad are waiting for him on the Other Side. I've enjoyed working with Darrell the many years to coordinate the American Indian program at the VA with IHS and always felt he 'had my back' when times got rocky. Please know that we'll continue to pray for you all for strength, courage and the promise of peace.
