Glenn Gibson Obituary

Glenn "Gibby" Owen Gibson South Pacific Veteran, Glenn "Gibby" Owen Gibson passed on to an ever-lasting road trip Friday, March 25, 2011. Born May 14, 1927 in Kewanee, Illinois to Stanley (NMN) Gibson and Linnie Agnes Purvis of Kentucky. Gibby moved to Tucson in the early 50's and worked as a machinist for Hughes Aircraft. Gibby manufactured the Lunar Landing Gear for the Hughes built LIM, and served the South Side of Tucson as a Mechanic for the next 30 years. Gibby was the proud father and a never wavering moral compass to four children, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Gibby was laid to rest Saturday, March 26, 2011 and is survived by his devoted wife, Hazel Catherine Gibson. Arrangements by FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN.
