Dad I miss you so much it hurts at times. I just t hope you knew how much i truly loved you. They say time heals all pain but I miss you more and more everyday.The pain of losing you is just the same if not more. I just hope i can see you again one day and gets me by. Dad so many times ive needed you just to say its gonna be ok. I love you and i love my brothers. Life is so different without you pops. We are getting older but it seems like yesterday when i think of you pulling up getting home from work. Mom making tortillas and just how much i miss the love from you both. I hope you knew just how much we truly loved you. Miss you and give mom a kiss for me.

Dad you know yesterday was extremely hard for me. I look at the house and I know your there somehow. I used to hate seeing it but the good out outweighs the bad by far. I miss you and mom so much and I have lots of good memories of times I shared with you both there. How much love you showed for us all there and how you lived for your grand babies there. Your house was your pride and I can feel a sense of comfort when I visit there now. We often joke to each other saying we are gonna win the lottery and how we would buy it back instead of a mansion :) . Lots going on and all of us are definitely getting older. We all miss you still so much Dad and the more I think about the last days the more I realize how much things can change so quickly. You loved us all and my love for you will never die but it only gets stronger and much deeper. Chris had a good day yesterday and he is convinced it was because of you .. ...though my day was very emotional i can smile today and cherish the time we had with you. I just can't believe it's been a whole year. Thank you for the letter BTW I know you put it there for me to find and it meant everything to me.

It's been a year since your passing, still can't believe you are gone. I know you are with Mom catching up on things, Pat Bell passed away October 12th, his funeral was yesterday, I bet you, Mom, Rita and Pat are happy to be together again, may you all Rest In Peace. All your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends miss you dearly.

Dad. ... I sure do miss you and my heart aches for you.... It surely does. I still can't believe it's over with you on Earth but one day I know we will see you and I am excited to finally get to tell you just how much I missed you and I can't believe how much it still hurts.
Chris is doing so good and I know you would be proud of your bubba. I drive by the house some times painful as it is to see for me yet it does warm my heart with the love you once had for us. I need that sometimes....

Thank you for coming to me and speaking to me dad that night in my room when i got sick. I remember everything you asked of me and though i didnt understand at that time. I most certainly do now why you said that. The Lord as my witness im doing it all just for you and just like you said. Please watch over us and guide Chris alittle he really needs you right now. We may struggle to get what little we have dad but u taught us to be humble. Never greedy and love each other and Goober, Mike, and I do see each other and often talk about things we remember. Seems so long ago. I just wish i could talk to you and tell u i love you and i just pray you always knew that pops. I put on of my favorite pics of you and Chris on here so u remember how much we loved you and Chris misses his tata so much dad. Dont be worrying about us anymore ok we want u to finally get some rest now....R.I.P. DAD

I'm not really good with this kind of stuff. But I learned alot these past few weeks. Stuff that kills me inside to be honest. I always knew you took us in and did everything you could for us but I never really took it all in. How much you did not only for us but for EVERYONE. I dont know how but you managed to make everyone smile. And you had the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. But anyways I love you and I feel as if I didn't do enough to show you how much you meant to me. And you showed me love I've never felt. Made me feel like I had someone I could count on always. You fought for your country and was a hard worker. I wish I did more to show my appreciation. But I promise you. I'll make some thing of myself for you. It's just hard right now. Not a day has gone by where I dont cry, I just feel alone sometimes. And i dont know how everyone else handles this but I really don't think I'll ever get over it. I just hope you knew what I said to you at the hospital. I wish I could have one last conversation. But God wanted you home. And i hope I'll get to see you. I can't wait. You were my best friend. I remember when Dorothy died, I told you I would date you lol. We just had a fun time and you always found time for me. And everyone else. "A heart of gold" as I say. I love you Tata and I miss you every single day. I'm sorry for any pain I caused. I know you love me too. And we will meet again. And I know your waiting for all of us, to once again be next to the man who kept the mena family together. I love you more than words can explain. God bless you, beautiful angel.

Dad we often talked about this day and you bet i wouldn't even cry. Well for once you were wrong. I am heartbroken at your passing but i am also at peace knowing you are with mom.finally. No more suffering now you can just rest. You were such a hard working, honest man who did more than he ever had to for his family without question. Thank you for being the strong man that you were dad and always willing to help us through anything we went through. I am deeply sad beyond words even when i think of how much im gonna miss you. I know that we always were not the best kids but no matter what you always loved us unconditionally and never gave up on us even when we wanted to give up on ourselves. Dad you persevered through so much in.your life for not only your.life but but your blood as well. You gave anything for your kids.hrandkids. and great grandkids if needed. How amazing you were to so many. I will miss you always. No more suffering but forever in eternal peace. I love you pops and i just pray you absolutely knew that in the end. You always had a smile on your face and a good word for everyone.. I will miss your phone calls checking on all of us Bells. I was looking forward to more visits with you when you told me you moved to Tucson. I'm so glad to have visited with you one last time in August. You will be missed.

I was so sad to hear that Uncle Max has passed. I have a lot of good memories of him, he was a funny man. He will be missed, I did talk to him several times and he sounded so good. So, So sorry from my husband and I.
