Robert Charles THOMAS

THOMAS, Robert (Bob) Charles died peacefully in his home, surrounded by family on October 3, 2017 in Sahuarita, AZ at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his parents, Selma and Fred and sisters, Audrey and Jean. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann;  children, David Thomas, Daniel (Susan) Thomas, Lee Ann Bonasera and Steven Thomas. Also survived by his seven grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Bob was born on January 29, 1930 in Mesa, AZ.  He graduated from Tucson High School in 1948 and then served 20 years in the Army National Guard and retired with the rank of Captain. He married Jo Ann Yeazell Goff on September 1, 1966 and they were married for 51 years. Bob was a printer by trade and was co-owner of Commercial Printers until he retired at the age of 73. A very special thank you to Bob's aides, Lisa Butler and Denise Antsey for their loving care. A memorial /graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at South Lawn Cemetary, 5401 S.
