Carol C. MURPHY

MURPHY, Carol C. and Lew Carol, passed away January 2, 2017, born and raised in Pasadena, CA in 1934 and the granddaughter of author Zane Grey, our beautiful mother has finally been reunited with her husband and soul mate of 49 years, Lew Murphy, after a long, hard 11 year struggle without him. Mom left us peacefully surrounded by her children, Grey (Kim), Tim (Adrian) and Clancy (Dale) and foster son, Mike, Leesa and her beloved dogs, Suzie and Jazz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron, Brittany, Carley, Megan, Michael and Danielle and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Ellie and Andalucia. Mom was a truly remarkable woman who had amazing intelligence, a quick wit and profound compassion for the well-being of her friends and family. She was a feisty, tough and extremely giving Irish woman and we will truly miss her but know how happy she is to be with our Lord and our dad. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Tucson Community Food Bank or Humane Society. Mom and Dad, we love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
