Dagmar Marie MOORE

MOORE, Dagmar Marie 100, passed away August 18, 2017. Born July 28, 1917 to Alfred and Freda Walker in Meeting Creek, Alberta. Marie and her family moved to San Francisco in the 1920's. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lt. Col. James D. Moore; her parents and her brother, Leonard E. Walker. Beloved mother to Malcolm A. Moore of Tucson and Brian A. (Cynthia) Moore of Omaha, NE; grandmother to Scott A. (Gina) Moore and great-grandmother to Onnika and Talia Moore of Gretna, NE. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins in California, Oregon and Canada. With her husband and sons, Marie lived many years in the Far East, Europe and the United States, from Honolulu to New York City. Marie was a graduate of San Francisco Junior College and attended the University of Oregon. She was a member of the Windward United Church of Christ in Kailua, Hawaii, TROA and PEO. Marie will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Huachuca. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. A Service will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn.
