Denny you will be truly missed. I have been a part of the Bailey family for 20 yrs and the stories started right from the beginning. I've heard about so many heroic times "you were just doing your job" and saved/changed the lives of others. I have also heard funny stories of you protecting your family.... Running down the "bad guys" with a gun in your jammies. Over the years I have no idea how many phone conversations I've heard between you and Ron & never once do I remember the phone being hung up without you both saying "I love you". Brothers for sure. I'm proud to have known you and so glad you have had Sylvia. What a rock she has been.

I was so sad to hear of Denny's passing. My life was blessed in countless ways because he was part of it. I will never forget the flights or the road trips to teach ACLS, PHTLS and more. I am so sorry for you loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God's peace.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Denny & Sylvia once in person, at a seminar. He was a genuinely kind man and the love he had for Sylvia was so evident. Through Sylvia, I got to read about many, many more instances of this. He truly was a great man. May he Rest In Peace, for his body is healed and whole at home with the Lord.

Oh Denny! I cannot thank you enough for the impact you have had on my life through your remarkable stories, your one of a kind humor, your steadfast loyalties and your inspirational love for our sweet Sylvia! I can't wait to get to Heaven for so many reasons, starting with seeing our Lord and Savior face to face but also for just one more visit with you!

Rest in peace, my dear friend. We have been brothers, confidant and counselor with each other. I remember the bond we made in paramedic training 40 years ago that has lasted through air rescue, years at the airport, and challenges of your illness. Thank you for asking me to be best man at your wedding to Sylvia. Over the years since then you have told me how much you and Sylvia love each other and how important she has been during these hard times. Sandy and I love her for the care she has provided to you and her infinite patience with you. I miss you, but I know you are with Loren, Tom, Rick, and Gabe really catching them up with your wonderful sense of humor.

Love you,
Ron Bailey

Sylvia, Denny was a friend and co-worker, someone I enjoying seeing as often as possible. He was a wonderful man, full of generosity and concern. He was at the flood at Seven Falls and he pushed our youngest daughter to safety. He showed me a video and he and our daughter were together. We will always be grateful. Denny, you were a GENTLE man!! Always, Rachel

Denny:
I will miss you and apologize for not getting back with you to set up lunch; that will bother me quite a while. But I will recall other memories: we were at too many wrecks together and spent far too much of our lives off-duty at TIA, but you always had a smile on your face and a quick Denny-comment.
Rest in peace my friend.
