Edward Michael KELLY

KELLY, Edward Michael was received into the arms of his Savior on January 2, 2017. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts to a proud Irish family on July 15, 1934. At the age of 17, he joined the Air Force and served a distinguished 20 year-career, including a stint in the Air Ministry in Spain. He later worked for MITA Corporation, System Tech., Hughes Aircraft, and Raytheon as a finance manager. He married the love of his life, Pierrette F. "Patience" and they enjoyed a 61-year partnership. Together, they had three devoted children and a beloved granddaughter. He was an active member of St. Pius X. Catholic Church and a graduate of the University of Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, John S. and Kathleen J. Kelly and his brothers, Robert and Joseph Kelly and nephews and extended family. He is survived by his wife, Pierrette; his children, Christopher P. Kelly, Alan P. Kelly, Michele M. Kelly-McDonough (Mark); his granddaughter, Marie Kathleen McDonough; his brothers, Jack Kelly and Leo Kelly (Margaret); his sister, Bernadette Kelly, numerous nephews and a niece, extended family and countless friends. He is desperately missed by those who loved him. Memorial Services and Mass will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X. Catholic Church at 1800 North Camino Pio Decimo.
