Hugh Hooshang MOBASSERI

MOBASSERI, Hugh Hooshang 79, a loving and beloved husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend; died January 13, 2017. Born in Hamadan, Iran, Hugh emigrated to the United States in 1960. He earned the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin and the Master of Business Administration Degree from Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey. Most of his business career was in Corporate Finance and in his own business as International Management Consultant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ali Mobasseri and Sakineh Behzadi of Tehran, Iran. Also preceding him in death were his mother-in-law, Alice Rasmussen La Frombois of Green Bay, WI and sister-in-law, Phyllis La Frombois Kornowske of De Pere, WI. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith Ann Mobasseri nee La Frombois of Green Bay, Wisconsin; by his brothers, Massoud of Tucson, Arizona, Manouchehr of Duivan, Netherlands and Sayeed of Tehran, Iran and his La Frombois brothers-in-law, Russell Jr. and Robert Sr. of Green Bay, WI. He rejoiced in his nine surviving Mobasseri nephews and nieces and 13 La Frombois nieces and nephews. After retiring from Management Consulting, he moved to Tucson, AZ, where he pursued his passions of fishing, gardening, traveling, art, music, Persian poetry, cooking, and participation in the Homeowners Association. Hugh demonstrated his love, devotion and commitment to family as well as his charm, sense of humor and intellectual rigor on a daily basis. Hugh longed for the day he would understand more of the Universe and is now at peace to be one with the universe. Prayers and cremation were Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, Tucson. There will be a Memorial Service in Tehran, Iran, and a Celebration of his Life in Green Bay, WI, on dates yet to be determined. The family thanks the Tucson Medical Center and its Hospice for the quality care, kindness, and compassion provided.
