Robert GOMEZ

GOMEZ, SMSgt. Robert, USAF, Retired Passed away on March 9, 2017. Born on September 2, 1927 in San Diego, California, raised in Ensenada, BC, Mexico. Served in the USAF for over 25 years with tours to Munich, Germany, where he met his loving wife, Maria of 57 years; Dayton, Ohio; Newfoundland, Canada; Salina, Kansas; Zaragoza, Spain; Los Angeles, California; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Ubon, Thailand (during the Vietnam War); Oscoda, Michigan; and Tucson where he retired from the USAF and joined Raytheon for 10 years. Bob is survived by his daughter, Norma Bowman; his son, Bob; granddaughters, Jennifer Frazier and Karin White; and great-granddaughter, Aniston Wilson. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco, followed by an Entombment at Our Lady of the Desert Mausoleum, 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes.
