I first met Bob (Buff) in the late 60s in Washington DC, as both our families were living there while working for the Interior Dept.
a few years later,
Bob was my boss in the early 80s in Boise..., as I was one of his Deputy Directors. He was a fantastic State Director, an exceptional leader and great friend. My memories of the BLM under his direction were some of my best.... he brought out people's full potential. I will miss him dearly.
Our prayers and condolences are with his wife and family.

Buff was always so upbeat, friendly and compassionate. He loved collecting baby hats with Sandy. Amazing how many he could pack into one duffle bag, 900!! Roger and I will miss seeing him at church. Blessings to the family.
