William Morgan Obituary

William Henry Morgan A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died of respiratory failure in Tucson on March 25, 2011. He was 76. Born on January 1, 1935, in Rupert, Idaho, Morgan is still their only January 1st birth. Morgan was a career USAF veteran and served for over 20 years before retiring in the rank of Technical Sergeant in 1972. Additionally, Morgan was one of the original "Air Commandos", the USAF predecessor to Special Operations. Morgan was a munitions specialist and served tours of duty throughout the world, to include tours in Japan, Panama, Thailand and Vietnam. Another highlight of his military career was participating as a member of the USAF Rifle and Pistol Team that competed in the Pan American Games while serving in Panama. After his retirement from the USAF, Morgan spent much time in the auto repair industry in Tucson, which culminated in his ownership of Eastside Volvo Repair, later knows as EVR Auto for decades throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's. He was noted several times in the Tucson Citizen as having one of the most dependable and honest auto repair businesses in the Tucson area. He was a compassionate man and helped many people throughout his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting during the years he was able to do so. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 54 years, Keiko Morgan; three sons, Don of Vail, AZ, Mike of Chandler, AZ and Dave of Tucson and three daughters, Janet of Tucson, Joice of Vail, AZ and Margie of Tucson. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the armed forces fighting overseas or the American Red Cross for the earthquake victims of Japan.

Dear Aunt Kay,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's death. I know you love him and miss him very much but you will see him again and his love for you will have grown even stronger and deeper.

I wish I could have made it to see you in your time of need but circumstances and finances just wouldn't let me.

I am thinking of you and your family and just wanted to let you know you are loved and cared for.

Love,

Cindie Williams
(Floyd's daughter)
