Marilyn, our deepest condolences to you and your family. The world benefitted so much from Joe's life and his dedicated work. Thank God that he walked among us and most of all that he chose Tucson to be his home. May God bless you and give you peace.

My family has known Joe & Marilyn and Blankinship family for over 45 years. They are family to us. Joe has Blessed us with his Caring love and Wit. I remember when we lived at the Country Club court, Joe would often sit at our parents table and talk about his stories, his dreams. Joe always had something planned. We will miss you Greatly our treasured Friend. Grandma Jean and Uncle Bill is at the heavenly gates with open arms. I pray God's Love and Protection be over the Family and His Peace to Comfort you.. With All of our Love, Jim, Edie, Annie & Jack

"So Joe, not pushing up daisies yet?" I said this to him every day for three years everytime I called.

I loved Joe and he became my father, but mostly my best friend. We logged a lot of time achieving more in one day than people do in a lifetime. We did 3 years worth of days. He gave to me the same thing he gave everyone.. I just took it and am doing something for everyone on this earth. I give him all the credit. I gave him what no other could. A good student. With Joe's help, I proved some of his theories about gold that he longed for and needed to know. For a teacher's teacher, he taught one well enough - well enough for me to realize the meaning of life. I see him in my dreams and I talk to him almost everyday even after I had to leave. And now, I can visit with him in my mind and listen to his lessons over and over again. He was my best friend for three years and because I was always there I know a side to Joe nobody knows but for me. He gave what he couldn't to anyone else. I want to share that soon now he is not here. For that, I'm privileged to be his pupil from then to now and here on out. Bless you my friend.. and I'll be there to pick you up again up for the next meeting.
