SCHULTZ, Alvera K. (Vera) passed away August 6, 2017, she was born August 16, 1927 to Germany dairy farmers Nicolas and Kathleen Shaefer in St. Cloud, WI. Alvera was born with the sense she could do anything. Whether it was driving the tractor as a five year old, shooting milk directly from the cows utter into the barn cats mouth, going to the city to work in a factory or rising the ranks into management, she put her best into every job. She took pride in her work, seeing work as an opportunity to learn and grow. She was a do-it-yourselfer, who both enjoyed the challenge of figuring it out and saving the costs of paying someone else to do it. At a stature of just 4'11"she made sure everyone knew she was small but powerful. Although Vera worked hard she knew how to have fun and how to connect with others. She made friends everywhere she went, and always made an impression with her lively conversation. She was always up for a game of cards and LOVED to dance. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Schultz and daughter, Joan Riznyk. She is survived by daughters, Jane LaVetter and Janet Schroeder; grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Sarah, Stephen, Philip, Kris and Brian, by great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Cyanna, Katie, Brees, Kolton, Madison, Jake, Shaylee, Parker, Jase and Ariella and great-great-granddaughter, Ariah. Plus all of her loving nieces, nephews, friends who are more like family and Tom Hart who shared many years of companionship and friendship. Vera brought a spark to the world and to the many many lives she touched. We are grateful to feel her spark ever ignited in our hearts. Please join us to celebrate Vera, Saturday November 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rincon Country West, 4555 S. Mission in the Auditorium. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
