Anne Rita Dixon

Anne Rita Dixon 4/10/1940 - 4/16/2011 Tucson, AZ. Departed life at the age of 71, died of Congestive Heart Failure. Born to William and Christina Higgins on April 10, 1940, in Limerick, Ireland. She was one of three girls, two boys. She was a loving mother, wonderful wife, grandmother and friend. Married Roger E. Dixon, 51 years ago and to this union came two girls, Deborah and Tracey Dixon. Her happiest moments were spending time with her family, friends and shopping. She is remembered most for her eccentric thinking, in a sense that you can do anything you want while on earth and her daily devotion to Our Mother of Sorrow. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Tracey; parents, two brothers and one sister. Anne is survived by her daughter, Deborah; son-in-law, Lucius; grandchildren, Monique, Lucius Roger, Ritamarie; great- granddaughter, Shianna; sister, Marie Cronin and special friends, Harry, Midge, Sandra, Herbert and many more. Visitation 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd., with Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at church, with entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Mausoleum.
