Antonette Tesi Obituary

Antonette (Noni) Tesi of Tucson, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 just nine days short of her 100th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anselmo and son, Arnold. She is survived by her brother, Ralph Ramella; son, Arthur; grandchildren, Jill Placey, Michelle Clark, Janeane Tesi, Angela Cherrill and Michael Tesi; great-grandchildren, Sean and Connor Placey, Zachary Cherrill and Gianna Tesi. Antonette was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 10, 1911 and moved to Tucson with her family in 1944. She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Church, Saint Peter and Paul and Salpointe H.S. She enjoyed bingo, cards, reading and good wine. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends and was loved for her sense of humor, kindness and selflessness. There will be a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 3201 E. Presidio Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mobile Meals of Tucson or your favorite charity would be appreciated. Interment to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Crossroads Adult Care Home for the loving care that they provided.
