Beth DELL Obituary

DELL, Beth Alison 3/8/1950 - 11/9/2016 This Wednesday, Beth's 20-year battle with cancer came to a peaceful end at her home in Tucson with family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 46-years, Bill; two sons, Jason and Benjamin; and six grandchildren. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was adopted and raised by her loving maternal grandparents, Mildred and Paul George. Beth's life-long passion for live theatre began as a child actor in Annapolis, Maryland, and continued through her stewardship of Tucson's Beowulf Alley Theatre. She was proud to receive her BFA in Theatre Production from the University of Arizona in 2000. Beth also built a successful small business focused on helping other small business establish strong foundations for growth. Beth loved travel, experiencing cultures, and making friends around the world. As Beth wished, there will be a party to celebrate her life on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Pastiche-Food Drink, 3025 N. Campbell Ave., Tucson, AZ 85719. All who knew and loved Beth are welcome.

Dear Bill,
I just discovered your loss, Beth's passing. She was your best friend. I weep for your loss as I weep for mine. My best friend passed in May this year, cancer. I am sorry for your loss Bill. I only remember good times with you and her in D.C. and Coral Gables.

I knew Beth well in Annapolis, Maryland. We were in childrens' theater productions together. We graduated high school in 1968. Who can predict the paths of human lives? I'm sorry to learn of her death and I add my condolences to her loved ones.
