Rhonda, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I could not beleive this when I found out. Heaven needs to watch out now that our dads are together with their love of bourbon and poker. Betty Lovering and Teresa Araiza

Opal, our thought's and prayers go out to you and family. Billie was a breath of fresh air anytime we saw him. He was a great man and there was no better spokesman for veterans and thier right's. We are pretty sure he is lobbying God right now for a VFW post in heaven. God Bless Ron & Sharron Middleton.

Rhonda (and family), I know how hard this is for you. May you find the grace, love and peace you need in the days to come. So glad most of your family was with you. Know you are loved.

Opal, the light is shinning brighter in heaven now that Billie is there. He i'm pretty sure of is sitting at a VFW canteen wearing that pony tail hat and drinking Bourbon...He is the reason there is a VFW, dedicated and a strong advocate to VETERANS, Opal, you are a very beautiful and loving angel who is loved by all!Smile when some one talks of Billie not weep, for he is in a pain free place!!!God bless you.
Past VFW Cmdr,

I could always count on Billie's counsel and friendship and will miss his being there. Billie was a straight shooter and there was no question of where he stood on an issue. We are all better off for knowing him and my heartfelt wishes go out to Opal and his family.
