I can't believe its been yet another year that has passed since you went to Heaven, Brett. It just truly breaks my heart as you were way too young. I know you are in Paradise and truly happy there. It's your loved ones that are still here, that are left heartbroken. Tell my Brandon that I love and miss him so much. I remember you 2, and James playing when you were just a little boy! You are a sweetheart and know that there is piece of my heart that is yours. Enjoy Paradise and all the beautiful bright colors there. You have earned this. We all love you! (((Hugs)))

Hey Brett! I am so sorry that I am late in writing on your page. I know I didn't have the opportunity to meet you but I know we would have got along swimmingly! I heard you like stores like Banana Republic, Express, Guess etc. and I love those places too! I also heard that you liked sushi! There's a strong correlation between us with that as well! I hope it was okay that I took your watch and had it fixed up by Skagen, you should see it, they put a new crystal on it because they were unable to polish the current crystal that was scuffed, they put a new battery in it, colored and polished the metal ring that held the excess portion of the watch to the band and they even fixed the band up! It's beautiful and above all classy. Cole loved it and I gave it to him as his graduation present even though it was supposed to be a Christmas present! But that's another story! Brett you would be so proud of your brother he graduated from basic training and let me tell you he was tiny! You totally could have taken him on and won if you wanted to lol! Oh! I am also getting your black Gap peacoat dry cleaned so either Chad or Cole can wear it, whoever claims it first. I know which ever one wears it is going to look great but completely incomparable to how you would have looked had you worn it! Thank you for being there for your brothers and teaching them along the way. It helped shape Chad and Cole into the men they are today (as well as Shae). Again, I am sorry I couldn't meet you but I want you to know that everytime anyone talks about you I can't help but get a little sad. You must have been the life of the party. Stay fly Brett and hopefully when I get to heaven I'll get to meet you in person... or unless you want to visit me in a dream... which your mother said would be cool if you introduced yourself to me early... just saying! Alright have a good one Brett! I'll see you later :-)

I never got to meet Brett, but I consider his mother to be a very dear friend. And because she is such a special person, I know that Brett must have been too. Take solace in knowing he is with the Lord and is whole, happy and healthy. Knowing too that you will be with him again some day should bring you peace.

I never knew you personally, only online, but we got to know each other well. I met you once and I never got a chance to know the man you were, but I do know that your time here on earth touched more lives than you would ever have guessed. I would have liked to know you and I'm sorry I missed out on that. We always think we have tomorrow even though we know it's not guaranteed.
