Chester Peter Delgado Sr. departed this life March 1, 2013 he was born in Sells, Arizona on July 16, 1935. He was an enrolled member of the Tohono O'odham Nation and a lifelong Tucsonan. He served honorably in the United States Army and worked as an Iron worker and business agent for Iron workers, Local 75 (retired). Chester never retired, going on to work for the Tohono O'odham Nation first in the Tribal Employment Rights Office and later as a Gaming Inspector Supervisor where he continued to work until he was hospitalized last September. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sporting events of his beloved Arizona Wildcats. Chester was actively involved in activities of the Pisinemo District of the Tohono O'odham Nation, of which he was a proud member. He is survived by his wife Isela and children, Pete, Joe (Clarissa), Tina (DJ); his eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his youngest son Michael; mother, Anita Rowles and brother, James Moreno. Visitation and Rosary Service on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY located at 204 S. Stone Avenue and Mass on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Parish located at 1300 N. Greasewood.
