This is to Clayton; our really true friend; He's at a new life's beginning; and not life's end.
More than anything; he enjoyed his short life; Along with his kids, grandkids & Amy, his wife.
He loved to brag about; pictures on his phone; A man that was so proud; of his truly "Happy Home".
Although we know; you're in a better place; It's missing the grins & the smile on your face.
Your Mom and Dad must have been very proud; Especially now; that you're sharing their cloud.
The love for you here; the love is so great; But yet God was waiting; you couldn't be late.
It may be awhile; but one day we'll meet; Just promise us all; you'll save us a seat.
Your Trico Family will have to make do; We'll always remember; the great things about you.
I hope you realize; how much you'll be missed; Always remember that; we all here insist.
Going on without "Our Friend"; will really be rough; But knowing where you are; in itself, is enough.
You'll forever be; within all our hearts; Also number one; at the top of our charts.
From now on when we gaze; at the stars in the sky; It will be all of us; with tears in our eyes.

Amy and Kids,
I'm so sory about your loss. I have known Clayton for quite a while. He always had a smile on his face and I know that he thought the world of you all. The amount of compassion he seemed to have for everyone was amazing. It meant the world to him to make sure that Shane was able to do some of the things he loved before he was to leave us all also. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May him and Shane have a ball together.

Several years ago when some of us "want-a-be" cowboys talked Dave and Sally Brielly into giving us western dance lessons, Dave said "dancing was just like skipping" to which Clayton replied that "my dad always told me real men don't skip". Well, we had a lot fun with Clayton and Amy at those lessons and Clayton was a real man. He was honest, trustworthy, kind and fun. He was special. He was Clayton! We are thankful he was in our lives. Amy and family, we trust that with some time your great memories will slowly over take your sorrow.

Dear Amy and Boys,
My sister Colette contacted me about our cousin Clayton. I am still in shock and disbelief, just as I know all of you are. I have been trying to get a hold of you, but no one at school has a current telephone number.
This is unreal. I remember when he was born. With Uncle Carl and Aunt Vera living up the street from us, I became the designated babysitter when they would go out with my parents. Of the four Brown boys, Clayton was the one that could light up a room with his infectious smile. He always had such a caring spirit about him.
Ironically, when I moved back to Tucson and got back into teaching again, unbeknownst to me the school I was hired at was Colby’s grade school. Clayton would come by as often as possible to check on Colby as a caring and compassionate parent.
I truly regret when my sister Gail was home for Christmas and saw Clayton, Craig, and Clifford, that I was not with them. That is a good picture of Clayton, Gail, and Craig.
There has never been a doubt about how much he loved you Amy, along with his boys. He had so much love to give. I can see it now, the Lord has opened up His Heavenly gates for Clayton, while Uncle Carl is strumming on his guitar and singing An Old Rugged Cross, while Aunt Vera and Cousin Curtis welcome him home with loving and comforting embraces. They are all watching over you.

The Brown's and Dalton's go back to school days. This loss is a tremendous and emotional time for many. There was no one like Clayton. He loved to show us all pictures of his grandbabies. He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa. There will be a great void in the Trico lives without our good friend. He loved his family more than anything in the world. He loved going to the Dunes and racing his car. Our son Little Ray adored him. It was always talk about fast cars and car parts. We love you, Buddy.

Amy, I am still trying to wrap my head around the news of Clayton's passing. I am so sorry. I used to babysit with all the boys when I was just a kid myself. I have many good memories of Clayton. The lasting memory is his love for you. Just a few months ago he told me "I don't know how I got so lucky to get Amy." He loved you and his boys and those grandkids so much. Stay strong Amy. I love you and I am praying for you. Marsha
