We just heard from a neighbor that David passed away a couple of weeks ago. We are sending our condolences to the Underwood family and want to say that a larger family will miss him as well. We met David 20 years ago when he helped place a needy little boy in our home. Of the many folks we interacted with in AZ foster care/adoption system, David was a breath of fresh air. He was always positive, kind and a problem solver. We have a sweet picture of him and us from the day we left his office with our new son, at the time almost 4 years old. We all recently moved back to Arizona and that young man is now 23 and living in his own apartment. Thank you David for taking your job seroiusly and caring about the children and the families. We miss you.

He was one of the coolest calm people that i knew that was very motivational when it came to giving advice. He will be missed but not forgotten as he passes to the next plain of life, his life here was just the begining
