Denice Walker LOHR

LOHR, Denice Walker Born April 20, 1958, Denice Walker Lohr was finally able to meet Jesus on Thursday, November 3, 2016 after losing a long battle with liver disease. Denice is survived by her loving and heartbroken husband, Joel Lohr; son, Adam and (wife) Jessica (Ellis); son, Mark Lohr; mother, Bea Walker, and father, Robert Walker; brother, Steven Walker; sisters, Dr. Renee (Perry) Gallo and Diane (John) Huntley, along with their families. Her two boys were the focus of her life. She also reveled in the opportunity to talk on the phone at length to her circle of very close friends and family. Denice was amazingly able to make forever relationships from wherever she worked, from wherever the boys were going to school and from within all the activities the boys were involved in over the years. Originally from Oak Creek, WI Denice graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BBA in Information Systems. She and Joel were married in Milwaukee, WI on August 9, 1980. They relocated to Tucson, Arizona with infant Adam in February 1986 and Mark rounded out the family in 1989. Denice enjoyed a long and engaging career with Data Systems of Arizona and Tucson Medical Center before starting her own software support business. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1300 North Greasewood Road, Tucson, AZ 85745.
