Don DUGGLEBY Obituary

DUGGLEBY, Don (1926 - 2017) World War II and Korean War veteran Donald Duggleby, a native of Davenport, IA, died September 14, 2017 at age 91 in Tucson. Duggleby served from 1944-46 in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II and from 1950-51 in the Korean War. He flew to Washington, D.C., on the second Honor Flight out of Tucson in October 2011. Duggleby retired in 1989 after working as an estimator and sales contractor for Mueller Lumber Co. in Moline, IL. He resided in Rock Island, IL, and East Moline, IL, before moving to Tucson in 1991. He was married to Patsian M. Condon from 1949 to 1988 and Jean A. Norman from 1989 to 2005. He attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL, and graduated Davenport High School, now known as Davenport Central High School, in January 1944. Duggleby is survived by brother, Richard (Grace) Duggleby of Muscatine, IA, and sister, Marjorie Foster of Des Moine, IA; nine step-grandchildren and their spouses and 20 step-great-grandchildren.
