I remember the night you graduated from high school and how proud your dad was that night. Quite a party there on the back porch. I also remember him sitting at the table enjoying one of Pauline's amazing meals. Particularly the very spicy ones that involved a bathroom hand towel. I mostly remember how much he enjoyed being with you. He and the Lord are surely spending some great time together, and no wonder, Jesus wanted him closer.

I don't know you, but read your "In Memoriam" today, which brought me to tears! If only my own children would think of me in the same way that you revere your father, I would know that I did right by them. But, I wouldn't appreciate the Cohibas, as I am a non-smoker! What a special tribute to your father. Every son (or daughter) should be blessed with a parent for whom they have these feelings . . . you are lucky, indeed. "And, in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." The Beatles.

Dear son of Mr. Redondo,
That was a beautiful letter you wrote about your father. What Love you must of had for each other. I lost my mom in 2008, and my Dad is still alive, he is in his 90"s.
I am going to look at my children and grandchildren with more Patience, more Love, and Understanding because of you. Thank You.

Hi Bobby,
I'm not sure we know each other, but I went to Pueblo High with Eddie Redondo. Are you his Brother?
I just wanted to let you know that for years I have been reading the beautiful stories you write your Father
each year in the Obituaries. I have never seen so much love from a Son to his Father as you write here each year. I picture you talking to him as if he was sitting right across the table from you. Your tribute to him each year is so funny, heartwarming, but most of all full of so much love. Any man would be proud to have you for a Son. May your Father continue to rest in peace among our Lord and his loved ones.
Till next year,

Hello Bob and Pauline. Time does go by very quickly. It doesn't seem that 15 years have passed since Don Luis Durazo Redondo left this world.
God Bless you both and may the Good Lord watch over Don Luis Durazo Redondo forever.
