Dorothy Anne Marie (Silcox) NELSON

NELSON, Dorothy Anne Marie (Bellis) (Silcox) born July 17, 1927 in Luck, WI passed away peacefully March 13, 2017. She lived in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin until 1963 when she moved to Tucson. Survived by her husband, Gary L. Nelson; cousin, Doris Boo Morris in Seattle; niece and nephews. Preceded in death by mother, Elsie (Ringstad) Meyer); father, John E. Bellis; son, Victor R. Silcox, Jr.; and sister, Betty Halvach. Was an avid hiker, weaver, photographer and painter. Worked many years for the National Council on Crime & Delinquency in the Chicago area and the Superior Court System in Tucson as a Courtroom Clerk. Was a Member of the Commenci Cancer Support Group having had two bouts of Breast Cancer since 2000. She loved life!
